Another Trip to Thailand
After his recent victory with CFFC, Jon decided to take another trip to Thailand to continue to work closely with world renowned trainer, Kru Mee.
During Jon's first visit to Sitmonchai, he developed a close relationship with Kru Mee. Since then he has been developing Jon's stand up specifically for MMA.
Jon also had the opportunity to go corner world famous Muay Thai fighter, Pornsanaeh Sitmonchai, at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.

Another Victory: CFFC 19 Fight
Jon fought for CFFC at The Borgata Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ on Feb 2, 2013.
His opponet, Maykon Suntos, was a well rounded fighter from Brazil.

Update on Feb 2nd Fight
Jon's original opponet, Lenny Baker, has pulled out of fight due to an injury. His new opponent will be Maykon Suntos.

Jon has signed to fight for CFFC on February 2nd at The Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. He will be fighting Lenny Baker.
Thailand Trip
Jon traveled to Thailand for 2 weeks of training at The Sitmonchai Gym.
He trained with some of the best Muay Thai guys in the world.
While in Thailand Jon found the time to register and compete in the Bangkok BJJ Open. He won his weight category and the open weight category in the mens purple belt division.

Pro Debut
Jon made his pro debut on October 13th fighting for Operation Octagon. His opponent was Steve Wampler from MMA Institute. He was a seasoned amatuer MMA fighter, but debuting as a professional.
The fight started off with Wampler aggressively coming after Jon. Jon stunned Wampler with a big left hook and then took him down. Jon controlled Wampler on the ground delivering heavy strikes from the top position until Wampler turned to his stomach giving up his back. At 4 minutes in, Jon sunk in the rear naked choke for a win.
