Jon Makes History With A Record Setting Knockout Over Bellator Veteran and Former Division 1 Collegiate Wrestler Neil Johnson.

On October 19th, Jon fought as the main event for XFE 27 at Harrah's Casino Philadelphia. His opponent Neil Johnson had over 10 professional fights. With Jon coming off of a loss this fight was extremely important.

Jon rose to the occasion with a 9 second knockout over his tough opponent in the first round. After this victory, Delbrugge plans to take a another trip to Thailand for a vacation with his wife and a mini training camp.

Trainging at Outfox MMA

Jon decided to take a trip to Virginia Beach to fellow teamate and Coach Jose Villarisco's school Outfox MMA for a long weekend to sharpen up his wrestling and kickboxing skills. Jose's academy can be found here...

Jose is a decorated Muay Thai Competetor and Coach who works very well with Jon. This training trip was also very good because Iowa Wrestling Club assistant Coach, Jim Kelly, was in the house to run the wrestling practices. Jon did 4 days straight with 2 practices a day, consisting of pure muay thai and wrestling.

CFFC 24: May 11th Delbrugge vs. Kennington

Jon has signed the contract for his next fight against a very tough opponent- Bellator veterian, Derrick Kennington (6-4).

This will be Jon's toughest opponent yet. A win over Kennington could mean big things for the future.

Another Trip to Thailand

After his recent victory with CFFC, Jon decided to take another trip to Thailand to continue to work closely with world renowned trainer, Kru Mee.

During Jon's first visit to Sitmonchai, he developed a close relationship with Kru Mee. Since then he has been developing Jon's stand up specifically for MMA.

Jon also had the opportunity to go corner world famous Muay Thai fighter, Pornsanaeh Sitmonchai, at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.

Another Victory: CFFC 19 Fight

Jon fought for CFFC at The Borgata Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ on Feb 2, 2013.

His opponet, Maykon Suntos, was a well rounded fighter from Brazil.

Update on Feb 2nd Fight

Jon's original opponet, Lenny Baker, has pulled out of fight due to an injury. His new opponent will be Maykon Suntos.
